Armando Beze
Armando Beze, the grandfather of Eleni Beze, was a Jewish man from Thessaloniki who joined the ELAS resistance during the German occupation of Greece. He survived the war, changing his name to Antonis, and later converted to Christianity. His family, however, was tragically lost in Auschwitz, with only one cousin surviving.
