Arnis Vērzemnieks

Arnis Vērzemnieks is an advocate for fair ticketing practices in Latvia, particularly concerning the popular Dziesmu un deju svētki (Song and Dance Festival). He has recently initiated efforts to reform the ticket sales system, which he argues creates a sense of injustice among families whose members participate in the festival. His proposal includes implementing a lottery system for ticket distribution, similar to those used in major events globally, in order to combat scalping and ensure equitable access for all interested parties.
