Arnoldo Sosa

Arnoldo Sosa, affectionately known as Cholo, was a beloved lottery singer for the Junta de Protección Social in Costa Rica, recognized for his vibrant voice and joyful spirit. He dedicated over two decades to the lottery, captivating audiences with his enthusiastic calls of winning numbers, including memorable moments like the Christmas lottery draw, which brought fortune to countless Costa Ricans. Sosa began his career with the JPS in 1977 and continued until his retirement in 2000, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most iconic figures in Costa Rican lottery history. He passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 87.
