Aron Kristjánsson
Aron Kristjánsson is a 52-year-old Icelandic handball coach who has recently been appointed as the head coach of the Kuwaiti men's national handball team. He has a notable coaching career spanning over twenty years, during which he led the Icelandic national team from 2012 to 2016 and has also coached various clubs in Denmark and Germany, including Aalborg, Kolding, Skjern, and Hannover-Burgdorf. Before taking the helm in Kuwait, he managed the Bahrain national team since 2018, achieving significant success. Under his leadership, the Kuwaiti team showed improvement in recent years, finishing fourth in the Asian Championship and participating in the World Championship for the first time in sixteen years.
