Artem Zdunov
Artem Zdunov is the Governor of Mordovia, a position he has held since 2020. Born in Kazan, he graduated from the Kazan State Financial and Economic Institute and has previously served as the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan and the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan. Known for his focus on family and demographic policies, Zdunov is set to become the head of the State Council's commission on family issues, aiming to address challenges related to declining birth rates in the region. He is of Erzya descent and is married with two children.
