Dr. Arthur Kanuah is the Director General of the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) in Liberia, where he is spearheading initiatives to revitalize the country's coffee industry, particularly the Liberica variety. Under his leadership, CARI is working in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture to multiply and distribute 10,000 Liberica coffee seedlings to farmers, aiming to restore Liberia's presence in the international coffee market, which has suffered due to past conflicts and lack of support for farmers.
