Arturo Jiménez Borja was a renowned Peruvian physician, archaeologist, writer, painter, museologist, and ethnologist from Tacna. Tragically, he was murdered in 2000 at the age of 91, leaving behind an extraordinary collection of folk art and ethnographic artifacts that reflects his lifelong dedication to cultural preservation and artistic appreciation.
