Asaf Shapira

Dr. Asaf Shapira is the head of the Political Reform Program at the Israeli Democracy Institute and a co-author of a recent study that examines the relationship between liberal democracy and environmental sustainability in Israel. His research focuses on the challenges faced by democratic governance in addressing long-term environmental policy amidst short-term political interests.
