Asier Calvo

Asier Calvo is a winemaker from Gumiel de Mercado in Spain's Ribera del Duero region, where he, along with his brother Rodrigo, operates the wineries Arrocal and Casa Lebai. This new generation of winemakers aims to blend tradition with modern practices, focusing on elegance and freshness in their Tempranillo wines. Casa Lebai, in particular, seeks to preserve and evolve the winemaking heritage of their ancestors by producing wines in a cellar equipped with ancient presses dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
