Askadar Housmane Sanou

Askadar Housmane Sanou has recently been appointed as the Director General of the Caisse des dépôts et d’investissements du Burkina Faso (CDI-BF), taking office on March 2, 2026. With over 15 years of experience in public administration and expertise in capital markets and financial risk management, he aims to lead the institution towards transformation and stability. His appointment follows the tenure of Pr Serge Auguste Bayala, and he has expressed a commitment to building on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
