Áslaug Kristín Zoega

Áslaug Kristín Zoega is a 25-year-old Icelandic woman who has bravely shared her journey with anorexia, a struggle that began at the age of fifteen. After experiencing severe mental health challenges during her studies at Menntaskólinn í Reykjavík, she sought treatment in Australia, where she received care that included innovative therapies with psychedelics like psilocybin. Currently studying business and philosophy at the University of Iceland, Áslaug has become an advocate for mental health awareness, emphasizing the importance of tailored treatment approaches for eating disorders.
