Asma Al-Mannai

Dr. Asma Al-Mannai is the Executive Director of the Health Life Sciences Sector at the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi. She has been instrumental in prioritizing the development of a comprehensive health sciences ecosystem that supports scientific discoveries and advances in precision medicine. Recently, she praised the research team at New York University Abu Dhabi for their significant contribution to understanding the biological factors affecting long-term health, particularly in relation to obesity and metabolic health.
