Asmae Hamzaoui is a rising star in the Gnaoua music scene, born the same year as the Gnaoua and World Music Festival. As the daughter of a Gnaoua master, she formed her own band, Bnate Toumbouktou, and has become a respected figure in a traditionally male-dominated genre, showcasing her unique perspective and artistry.
