Asteer Saleem

Asteer Saleem is a remarkable student who, after fleeing war in Iraq, arrived in Australia and overcame significant educational challenges to excel in her studies. In 2024, she achieved First in Course in Arabic Extension and an ATAR of 95.15. Now studying a double degree in Law and Commerce at Sydney University, Saleem is driven by her desire to advocate for justice and equality, inspired by her experiences and the value of education.
