Astrid S. Tuminez

Astrid S. Tuminez is the president of Utah Valley University. In the wake of the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk on campus, she has been actively involved in addressing the needs of students and faculty, emphasizing the importance of community support and healing. Tuminez is committed to restoring a safe and supportive environment for all members of the campus community and has organized a vigil to honor those affected by the violence.
