Atik Nurhayati, a 48-year-old resident of Desa Tugu Selatan in Kabupaten Bogor, West Java, has been facing increasingly severe flooding issues in her home, which she attributes to environmental changes over the 13 years she has lived there. On March 2, 2025, she returned from Tarawih prayers to find her home inundated with muddy water, exacerbating the ongoing crisis in the Jabodetabek region.
