Auður Gunnarsdóttir is a dedicated ceramic artist based in Mosfellsbær, Iceland. Having discovered her passion for ceramics 27 years ago while attending a pottery course in Denmark, she has since developed a unique style that draws inspiration from nature. Auður creates functional and artistic pottery pieces, often incorporating local materials like ash and rock. She operates a workshop in her home where she produces a variety of items, including bowls, vases, and mugs, all crafted by hand. Auður is also involved in the artistic community, showcasing her work at Bjarni Sigurdsson Gallery and supporting fellow artists.
