Aurelio Asiain

Aurelio Asiain is a prominent Mexican translator, poet, and literary scholar born in 1960 in Mexico City. He is known for his significant contributions to the field of translation and poetry, having served as the editorial secretary for the magazine Vuelta and currently being a member of the editorial board of Letras Libres. After moving to Japan over twenty years ago, he has taught at Kansai Gaidai University, focusing on Hispanic literature and culture. Asiain recently returned to Mexico to present his latest book, 'Muy diversas versiones,' which showcases a diverse collection of translations from various languages and cultures.
