Austin Campbell-Alexander is a maintenance technician who became a whistleblower after raising safety concerns regarding the Orlando Free Fall ride at Icon Park in Florida. He alleged that his warnings about modified safety sensors and overheated cylinders were ignored before the tragic fall of a teenager, Tyre Sampson, in March 2022. Campbell-Alexander has since faced retaliation, including being put on administrative leave and ultimately fired after Sampson's family reached a settlement with the ride's operators.
