Ave Kumpas

Ave Kumpas was a celebrated Estonian children's music composer and educator, born in 1936 in Hargla. Over her prolific career, she created hundreds of children's songs and contributed music to various children's productions. A dedicated music teacher, she taught in schools and kindergartens, and was known for her commitment to nurturing a love for music in children. Notable students of hers include Maarja-Liis Ilus, Hanna-Liina Võsa, and Kaido Põldma.
