Avinoam Bar, commonly known as Numa, is a renowned Israeli illustrator and artist, currently based in London. Born in 1973 in Afula to Holocaust survivor parents, he has carved a niche for himself in the world of art, working with prestigious brands and publishing houses. His artistic journey began at a young age, influenced by his surroundings and experiences, including a deep connection to nature from his childhood in the forests of Nazareth. Bar's unique style blends simplicity with deeper meanings, often reflecting on themes of identity and belonging. His work has recently gained prominence with the opening of his exhibition 'On the Other Side' at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, showcasing two decades of his creative output.
