Aviram Shaul

Aviram Shaul is the brother of Sergeant Oron Shaul, an IDF soldier who was killed during Operation Protective Edge in 2014. After a prolonged struggle to have his brother's status changed from missing to fallen soldier, Aviram has been a vocal advocate for the families of soldiers whose remains are held by Hamas. He played a key role in raising awareness about the plight of families like his own, and he expressed gratitude towards the IDF for the recent recovery of his brother's remains, which brought closure to his family after nearly a decade of uncertainty.
