Avram Leiba Esra-Zissu, cunoscut sub pseudonimul Urmuz, a fost un scriitor român născut pe 17 martie 1883, renumit pentru contribuțiile sale la literatura suprarealistă. A studiat Dreptul și a lucrat ca judecător, dar și-a dedicat timpul scrisului fără intenții comerciale, având un stil inovator și neobișnuit. A avut o influență semnificativă asupra literaturii române, deși a murit prin sinucidere în 1923, într-un mod care a rămas misterios.
