Avugana Khasiani

Avugana Khasiani is the Board Chairman of Mudete Tea Factory, known for his advocacy for the interests of tea farmers in Kenya. During a recent visit by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Khasiani highlighted the factory's significant contribution to the local economy, revealing that it has paid over Sh10.5 billion to farmers since its inception. He has called for the construction of additional tea factories to better accommodate the growing number of farmers and reduce transportation costs.
