Awat Sheikh Janab

Awat Sheikh Janab is the Minister of Finance for the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He has been actively involved in negotiations with the federal government to resolve ongoing financial disputes, particularly concerning the payment of salaries for public employees in the region. Recently, he has led a delegation in intensive meetings in Baghdad aimed at overcoming technical obstacles to ensure the timely disbursement of salaries for December 2024 and throughout 2025.
