Awemi Dio Maisamari is a prominent Nigerian political figure and community leader known for his advocacy for the rights of the Adara people in Southern Kaduna. He was in the news as one of the plaintiffs in a landmark court case that awarded N900 million in damages against former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, for human rights violations related to his illegal detention in 2019.
