Axel Björn Clausen

Axel Björn Clausen, also known as Axel Chef or Axel Umami, is an accomplished chef and the owner of Umami Sushi, which recently opened its second location in Hafnartorg Gallerý. With extensive experience in the culinary field, he graduated from the Hotel and Culinary School in Kópavogur in 2010 and has been part of the Icelandic culinary team, winning multiple awards. His passion for sushi, combined with a desire to offer high-quality, handcrafted dishes at reasonable prices, led him to open Umami, where he emphasizes fresh ingredients and customer satisfaction.
