Aynur Gazcıoğlu

Aynur Gazcıoğlu is a dedicated individual who has preserved a historic Turkish flag, used during the Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı, for 36 years in her home in Gönyeli. She received the flag from a Kıbrıslı Turkish neighbor and has cared for it meticulously, despite its damaged condition. Recently, her efforts were recognized by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister, who announced that the flag would undergo a restoration process to ensure its preservation for future generations.
