Ayubu Muwinge

Sheikh Ayubu Muwinge was a prominent Islamic scholar and teacher in the Morogoro region of Tanzania, who dedicated his life to educating future generations about the Islamic faith. He was known for founding the Asasudin Madrasa and held various leadership positions within the Islamic community, including serving as a leader of the Baraza Kuu la Kiislamu Tanzania. His death on February 18, 2025, marked a significant loss for the Muslim community in Morogoro, where he was revered as a mentor to many sheikhs.
