Ayubxon Yunusov

Ayubxon Yunusov is a seasoned Uzbek diplomat who has recently been appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Uzbekistan to Iraq, with his base in Kuwait City. He presented his credentials to President Abdullatif Rashid, marking a significant step in his diplomatic career. Prior to this assignment, Yunusov held a key position in the Consular-Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. With a rich educational background that includes institutions such as the Imam Bukhari Islamic Institute and Al-Azhar University, he has been active in various roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2003, including postings in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
