Azir Osmanović

Azir Osmanović is the curator of the Srebrenica Memorial Center and a key figure in preserving the memory of the genocide that occurred in July 1995. He was once a survivor of the massacre and has since dedicated his life to documenting the stories of victims and educating future generations about the atrocities. As a former member of the diplomatic team from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the UN, Osmanović played a significant role in the adoption of the resolution recognizing the genocide, and he continues to advocate against denial and for the recognition of historical truths surrounding the events of Srebrenica.
