Aziza Suwedi

Jaji Aziza Suwedi is the Vice Chairperson of the Zanzibar Electoral Commission (ZEC). Recently, she officially launched the national election ethics committee, aimed at ensuring that the upcoming elections in 2025 are free, fair, and peaceful. During the launch, she emphasized the importance of involving electoral stakeholders, particularly political parties, in developing the election ethics guidelines, which will be adopted before the official campaign period begins.
