Aziza Valiyeva

Aziza Valiyeva is a former chairperson of the Hamkorobod neighborhood in Tashkent, known for her long-standing advocacy against the illegal waste dumping in her community. Having served for 15 years, she has been vocal about the health risks posed to residents due to the pollution from the waste site, which has resurfaced after being closed in the early 2000s.
