Azizur Rahman Bhandari

Azizur Rahman Bhandari is a local spiritual leader known as a 'peer' in his community, who established a khanka sharif (spiritual center) near his home in the Poba Upazila of Rajshahi approximately 15 years ago. He is recognized for his role in organizing spiritual gatherings and events, particularly during significant religious occasions such as Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. Recently, his khanka was the target of an attack and vandalism by a group of individuals, which occurred during a three-day religious celebration, raising tensions in the area.
