Babucarr Mbye

Babucarr Mbye is the Project Coordinator of the HISWACA, MDBV initiative, and has been instrumental in leading a caravan aimed at raising awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) across various regions in The Gambia. He emphasized the importance of training and deploying regional GBV ambassadors who can effectively communicate and advocate for change within their communities. Mbye has called for sustained efforts beyond donor funding to ensure the continuation of GBV awareness activities.
