Bahati Gulaka

Bahati Gulaka is the Chairman of the Nyamalembo Ward in Geita, Tanzania. He has been actively representing the concerns of local residents who have lived within a mining lease for over 25 years without adequate compensation or development opportunities. Gulaka recently led a protest to the regional office, seeking clarity on their future and demanding fair assessments and compensation for their land.
