Bahati Sanga

Dr. Bahati Sanga is a distinguished Tanzanian executive with over 25 years of experience in organizational reform, digital transformation, and strategy execution within banking and development finance institutions. Recently appointed as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Director of the Corporate Information Technology Services Department at the African Development Bank (AfDB), he has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives such as the Digital Action Plan, which incorporates advanced technologies including artificial intelligence and cloud-based solutions. His extensive background includes leadership roles at AfDB since 2010 and previous positions at the Tanzania Investment Bank, where he led significant technological reforms.
