Bahnām Shahrīārī

Bahnām Shahrīārī was an Iranian military leader associated with the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Born in 1969 in Angout, Ardabil, he played a significant role in logistical and support operations for the IRGC. He was known for his involvement in regional security and was previously sanctioned by the U.S. government due to allegations of supporting the resistance axis against Western influence in the Middle East. Shahrīārī was reported to have been assassinated in early July 2023 in western Iran, an act attributed to Israeli forces.
