Baiba Rozentāle

Baiba Rozentāle is the head of the Latvian Infectology Centre and a professor at Rīga Stradiņš University. She is recognized for her expertise in infectious diseases, particularly in raising awareness about tick-borne illnesses such as tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease. Recently, she was in the news discussing the importance of being cautious about ticks, especially during unseasonably warm winter weather when people may not expect to encounter them.
