Baku

Baku is a male Malayan tapir who resides at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. He is the father of a recently born calf, as part of a Species Survival Plan aimed at ensuring the genetic diversity and sustainability of this endangered species in human care. His contribution to the breeding program is vital for the preservation of the Malayan tapir population.
