Balodis-Rozītis
Balodis-Rozītis is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Latvia, holding a professional master's degree in legal sciences and a qualification as a lawyer. Since 2017, he has served as the General Secretary of the Latvian Sports Federation (LSFP) and has previously worked as a jurist and certification specialist within the organization. His role includes overseeing the certification processes for sports specialists and participating in the improvement of regulatory frameworks in the sports sector. He is also a member of the Antidoping Advisory Council and has gained professional experience in law firms and as a bankruptcy administrator. Recently, he was in the news following a delayed decision in a doping case that led to his dismissal from the position of chair of the Appeals Commission.
