Baltazar González is a rezandero from Yosoyuxi Copala, a Triqui community in Oaxaca, Mexico. He participates in annual rituals that involve offering prayers and sacrifices to the God of Thunder in hopes of receiving ample rainfall for the maize and bean crops, which are vital for the community's sustenance.
