Bandera

Bandera is a Sri Lankan student currently studying health management at Semmelweis University in Hungary. Having moved to Budapest eight months ago, she has developed a fondness for the city and aims to stay after her graduation. Her background reflects the ethnic diversity of Sri Lanka, as she is of Sinhalese descent with Tamil heritage. Recently, she gained media attention while being interviewed by an Associated Press crew at the Árasztó Beach along the Danube River, highlighting her experiences living in Hungary and her journey to learn the Hungarian language.
