Baniah

Baniah is a 57-year-old farmer from the Balik tribe living near the site of Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara. With her husband, she manages a 14-hectare plantation primarily growing palm oil, but she faces uncertainty as her land has been marked for development, which threatens her livelihood and traditional way of life in the rainforest.
