
Bao Sen
Bao Sen, originally named Zhao Bao Sen, was a prominent Chinese resistance hero born in July 1911 in a poor farming family in Pucheng County, Shaanxi. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1932 and became a key figure in the anti-Japanese resistance during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Known for his strategic brilliance and bravery, Bao led numerous successful military operations against Japanese and puppet forces, earning a reputation as a formidable adversary. He was killed in action at the age of 31 while commanding his troops in a fierce battle in Hebei in 1942.
