Bar Clara Mendes McConnon

Bar Clara Mendes McConnon, originally from Israel, moved to Dublin in 2013 and has since built a life there with her husband, Karl. The couple, who married in 2016, faced significant challenges following the escalation of violence in Israel in October 2023, which affected their social life and led to rising antisemitism in Ireland. As an expectant mother, Bar experienced heightened stress and trauma due to the changing perceptions of Jews and Israelis in her community.
