Barak Tzah

Barak Tzah was a resident of Petah Tikva, Israel, and a devoted husband and father of four. He tragically lost his life in a shark attack while snorkeling at the Nahal Hadera beach, where he had gone to film sharks with a GoPro camera. His wife, Sarit, shared the heartbreaking news of his passing and sought to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident, emphasizing that he was not attempting to feed or interact with the sharks. Barak was also a former soldier in the IDF's 8207 battalion and was remembered fondly by his comrades.
