Bariya

Bariya is a 63-year-old local woman who was imprisoned for approximately one hundred days on charges of cooking for protesters and spying against the Assad regime in Homs. Her harrowing account of torture and suffering during her detention reveals the brutal realities faced by many under the dictatorship, including the traumatic experiences of witnessing the torment of her husband and other family members.
