Barney McCallum
Barney McCallum is one of the co-founders of pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. He, along with Joel Pritchard and Bill Bell, helped to develop the game in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where they created rules and refined gameplay after initially improvising on a badminton court. Today, pickleball is recognized as the fastest-growing participation sport in America.
