Barney Ratcliffe is a retired detective inspector who participated in the Metropolitan Police's investigation into phone hacking at News Group Newspapers. He has stated that he would have considered arresting a senior executive, Will Lewis, for perverting the course of justice due to alleged activities that frustrated the investigation.
